ShortlistIQ is a platform for revolutionizing the recruitment process with the power of artificial intelligence. At its core, ShortlistIQ harnesses AI to create recruitment assistants capable of conducting in-depth first-round interviews, thereby significantly reducing your and your team manual workload.

ShortlistIQ Dashboard

Navigating through ShortlistIQ allows you the flexibility to establish and manage multiple organizations distinctively and seamlessly.

You can organize your recruitment efforts more efficiently, with each organization tailoring its approach to candidate screening without overlap or confusion among team members.

Organizations

You have the option to either manually import candidates, assign a specific source for a more organized approach, or opt for bulk importation via a CSV list. This ensures bringing candidates into the interviewing funnel is as streamlined as possible, making your recruitment process smoother and faster.

Manual Import of Candidates

Lastly, the conversational prowess of ShortlistIQ AI recruitment assistants is a game-changer in your candidate interviews. Rather than relying on chatbots, use conversational AIs for human-like interactions, complete with natural typing speeds, read/delivered notifications, and the ability to navigate off-topic discussions when necessary.

This is where your journey towards more intelligent, efficient, and fair recruitment begins.

What Should I do on Day 1?

By following these steps and utilizing the technical examples provided, you can confidently begin your journey with ShortlistIQ

Optimize Your Setup

1. Create Your Organization(s):

  • Example: Navigate to the 'Organization' tab and select 'Create New.' Here, enter your organization's name, e.g., "Tech Innovators Inc." Then, choose a unique identifier that will help you distinguish between different departments or projects if you decide to create more organizations within ShortlistIQ.

2. Personalize Your AI Recruitment Assistant:

  • Example: In the 'AI Assistant' section, click on 'Create New Assistant.' Start by selecting your assistant's tone of voice β€” would you prefer professional, conversational, or dynamic? For a tech company, a "dynamic" tone might be more engaging. Decide on a name that embodies your company culture, such as "Ava, the Tech Talent Scout."

3. Create a Job Interview:

  • Example: To set up your first job interview, head to the 'Job Interviews' section and click on 'Create New Interview.' For example, if you're looking to fill a position for a 'Digital Marketing Manager,' provide a detailed job title and description that outlines what the role entails, its key responsibilities, and the qualifications needed. This detail helps in crafting an interview that is tailored to the specific requirements of the job, ensuring that the AI interviewer asks relevant and strategic questions.

Import and Organize Candidates

4. Bulk Import Candidates:

  • Example: Prepare a CSV file with candidate details according to the provided template. Ensure to include key fields like Name, Email, Job Role, and Source. Navigate to 'Candidates' > 'Import' and select your CSV file. For instance, import a file named "Developer_Candidates_March.csv" to bring in all applicants for a software developer position.

5. Setting Up Candidate Sources:

  • Example: Before importing individual candidates, set up sources to track where they're coming from effectively. Go to 'Settings' > 'Candidate Sources' and add new ones like 'LinkedIn,' 'Indeed,' or 'Employee Referral.' This will help in analyzing which channels are most fruitful for your organization.

Engage and Evaluate

6. Train Your AI Assistant for a New Position:

  • Example: Let's say you need to fill a 'Senior Data Analyst' role. Go to your AI assistant settings, select 'Train for New Role,' and input the job description, key skills, and other criteria. Spend 15 minutes answering guided questions about the role to ensure your AI understands what to look for during interviews.

7. Launch Your First AI-Assisted Interview:

  • Example: After training, it's time to test. Select a few candidates from the 'Developer_Candidates_March.csv' you imported earlier and invite them to an interview with your AI, "Ava." Monitor how "Ava" interacts with candidates, asking strategic questions and providing you with a comprehensive report on their abilities and potential fit.
